Role: Response Operations Coordinator

Site: Poole 

Reports to: Head of Risk Advisory Services

Salary £24k for first three months then rises to £25K 

shift rota:  2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off, 21

 Days holiday, pension plan and sick pay

 

 

The company deals in Safe secure customer led solutions to the security, construction, logistics and aviation services.

 

 Responsible for proactively monitoring and operating a control centre. Purpose of the role

-      Frontline response to emergencies, protecting people, reputation, assets

-      Monitoring events, proactive and reactive alerting and notifications

-      Managing and monitoring operations support requirements

-      The role will monitor, disseminate and process information within the command and control centres systems, and control information flow to the operational sites. This position requires a night level of accuracy at all times. 

Main responsibilities

-      Receiving intelligent repots, disseminating information and identifying events that may impact operations

-      Screening prioritising, grading and publishing security alerts into the command and control centre platform

-      Advising stakeholders 24/7 about events that may impact them

-      Conducting short-term analysis on specific events and writing advisories

-      Providing security advice for employees or customers intending on travel or already in locations around the world

-      Scoping, proposing, planning and managing journey management tasks for employees and customers during international travel

-      Responding to emergency events

-      Receiving employee absentee notifications

-      Ensuring operational records and reports are completed correctly 

-      Ensuring standard operation procedures remain current and relevant 

Requirements

Essential 

-      An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity 

-      Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

-      Ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment

-      A proactive person with the ability to perform under pressure 

-      Excellent administration skills with a keen eye for detail 

-      Excellent computer skills, experience will all MS office applications

-      Interest and good knowledge in current affairs

-      Excellent spoken and written English

-      Ability to work with little supervision 

Desirable 

-      Experience of responding to critical incidents

-      Second Language

-      Intelligence analysis experience 

-      Current standards and practices used in security

Qualifications

-      Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in a risk, intelligence or security related field.
